Caballo de Fuego

Located in Ushuaia and only 7.3 km from Encerrada Bay, Caballo de Fuego provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This recently renovated bed and breakfast is located 24 km from Tierra del Fuego National Park and 25 km from Castor Hill Ski Center. The bed and breakfast features family rooms.The atmosphere and people were exceptional! One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests.
